The Dream
A green thumb, a need, a joy, and a big enough God.
Many years ago, I saw a need for healthier, quality food at a fairer price. Unable to sustain the financial burden of fresh organics, I found my green thumb, grew all the basics, and dreamed of a homestead. A love of gardening was sparked. Soon into the growing journey, I realized the severity of our food supply processes and the nation's health. Oh, the need is real. It can be done better and it's up to us. We the people have to be educated and able to make ourselves well. As the learning continued, an idea was sprouting and a joy was harnessed. We can be truly well and I can help others do so along the way. The homestead dream turned into aspiration of becoming a local farmer. When a little bit of land and huge hope came my way to bring the idea into fruition, I started planning...I may have planned too much. The design is now God-sized and birthed a purpose. A purpose to serve others and assist in the growth and well-being of other's lives. A sister non-profit organization is now in the works. We have no idea how we will arrive, but our God is big enough.
As of now, we are pleased to announce that our first crop selection is ready to order. Introducing Mosaic Microgreens! Our microgreens are highly dense, nutritionally packed sprouts from a choice selection of foods. We offer broccoli, sunflower, radish, clover, wheatgrass, and more. Orders will be delivered directly to your door within 2 weeks of ordering. Mosaic Microfarm is just breaking ground, so please note we will be selling eggs, fruits, vegetables, honey, herbs, breads, soaps, and more as we get established and the seasons turn. Our local products will be available for delivery only in Sumner Co TN, with hopes of expanding to surrounding counties in the future. Mosaic's journey is shared on various social medias.
